From the very first prayer and acts of praise that were made Sunday, April 30 you could feel the wonderful presence of God. His presence was so overwhelming and by the time it was said and done 2 received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and 4 were baptized in the only saving name there is, Jesus Christ. One that received the Holy Ghost is from our bus route on Parks Ave.

It all began with a thought or plan. John 1:1 refers to it as the "word" or "Logos" which is a Greek word for a " thought". The question has been asked for centuries why did He come? Just to die? Why did He come? Just to suffer? Isaiah the prophet said it well in chapter 53 he wrote, "He was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement for our peace was upon Him." He was born to die? Yes........, however more than the dying He came to give life through His resurrection. Look at our little friend in the picture above and know with an assurity that Gods' resurrection or " thought" is far reaching without end. Happy Easter
